Diese Dichtungen sind darauf ausgelegt, die maximale Dichtleistung zu erzielen und benötigen keine Dichtmittel. Sie sind ideal für sowohl Aluminiumköpfe auf Aluminiumblöcken als auch Aluminiumköpfe auf Gusseisenblöcken.
Cometic's MLS Dichtungen bestehen aus mehreren Schichten von Edelstahl, was die Fähigkeit zur Rückfederung und Korrosionsbeständigkeit schafft. Die äußeren Schichten sind geprägt und auf beiden Seiten mit Viton, einem fluorelastomeren Gummimaterial, beschichtet, das bis zu 250°C/482°F hitzebeständig ist.
