Die Dichtung besteht aus mehreren geprägten Schichten aus Edelstahl mit äußeren Schichten, die mit einer Viton-Gummibeschichtung versehen sind. Dadurch kann sie die durch verschiedene Materialien entstehende Scherkräfte widerstehen. Ihre komprimierte Dicke beträgt 0,045", was sie ideal für beide Aluminium-Köpfe auf Aluminium-Blöcke und Aluminium-Köpfe auf Gusseisen-Blöcke macht.
