Diese Dichtungen sind dafür konzipiert, maximale Dichtleistung zu bieten und benötigen keine Dichtmittel. Sie sind ideal für sowohl Aluminium-Zylinderköpfe auf Aluminium-Blöcke als auch Aluminium-Zylinderköpfe auf Gusseisen-Blöcke.
Die Cometic MLS-Dichtung besteht aus mehreren geprägten Schichten aus Edelstahl, wobei die äußeren Schichten eine Viton-Gummibeschichtung verwenden. Die komprimierte Dicke beträgt 0,060 Zoll, und sie ist für die Verwendung mit Darton M.I.D.-Hülse auf der linken Seite konzipiert.
