Diese Dichtungen sind darauf ausgelegt, maximale Dichtleistung zu erzielen und benötigen keine Dichtmittel. Sie sind ideal für beide Aluminium-Zylinderköpfe auf Aluminium-Blöcke und Aluminium-Zylinderköpfe auf Gusseisen-Blöcke.
Cometics MLS-Dichtungen bestehen aus mehreren Schichten von Edelstahl, was die Fähigkeit zur Rückfederung und Korrosionsbeständigkeit erhöht. Die äußeren Schichten sind geprägt und auf beiden Seiten mit Viton beschichtet, einem Flourelastomer-Gummimaterial, das bis zu 250°C/482°F hitzebeständig ist.
