Diese Dichtungen sind darauf ausgelegt, maximale Dichtleistung zu erzielen und benötigen keine Dichtmittel. Sie sind ideal für sowohl Aluminiumzylinderköpfe auf Aluminiumblöcke als auch Aluminiumzylinderköpfe auf Gusseisenblöcke.
Die Cometic MLS Dichtung besteht aus mehreren geprägten Schichten aus Edelstahl, wobei die äußeren Schichten eine Viton-Gummibeschichtung aufweisen. Die komprimierte Betriebsdicke beträgt 0,098". Dieses Design ermöglicht es, sich zurückzubilden und Korrosion zu widerstehen, was es perfekt für harte Dichtungsumgebungen macht.
