Die Dichtung besteht aus mehreren geprägten Schichten aus Edelstahl mit einer Viton-Gummibeschichtung und ist darauf ausgelegt, die Scherspannung zu widerstehen, die durch verschiedene Materialien entsteht. Ihre mehrschichtige Stahlkonstruktion bietet auch erhöhte Festigkeit und Korrosionsbeständigkeit.
