Carrillo Industries wurde übrigens bereits 1963 von Fred Carrillo gegründet. Fred ging an die Herausforderungen der Fertigung mit der Idee heran, keine Kompromisse einzugehen. Er wusste, dass das nie endende Streben nach Geschwindigkeit den gleichen Wunsch in der Komponentenherstellung erfordern würde. Diese Carrillo-Philosophie ist heute noch genauso offensichtlich wie bei der Gründung von Carrillo im Jahr 1963. CP Pistons und Carrillo sind Mitglieder von Pankl Racing Systems.
