BD Diesel Exhaust Brake - Universal 4.0in
The BD Diesel Exhaust Brake is engineered to provide up to 150 retarding horsepower across the entire engine RPM range, enhancing vehicle control and safety on steep grades and demanding terrain. Featuring BD's exclusive Variable Orifice Technology, this exhaust brake offers superior back pressure regulation for consistent performance.
Constructed with rugged cast-iron housings and a solid, offset butterfly valve, it is built to withstand harsh, high-heat exhaust conditions. The brake includes a pneumatic spring-loaded cylinder for adjustable pressure regulation and is equipped with BD's exclusive alumibronze bushing, piston ring seals, and a stainless steel butterfly shaft to resist corrosion and ensure durability.
