BD Diesel Intercooler Hose & Clamp Kit for 2001-2004 Chevy LB7 Duramax
This BD Diesel Intercooler Hose & Clamp Kit is engineered specifically for the 2001-2004 Chevy LB7 Duramax 6.6L engines, designed to withstand high boost pressures and harsh conditions. Each hose is constructed with 4 to 5 plies of DuPont Nomex / Aramid fiber, avoiding inferior polyester materials, ensuring superior strength and durability. The hoses meet three times their working pressure, capable of handling over 100 psi of boost.
The kit includes spring-loaded 300 series stainless steel band clamps that maintain consistent clamping force through heat cycles, preventing hose blow-offs during demanding turbocharged applications. The hoses use fluorosilicone elastomers and fluorocarbon materials to resist oily residues, enhancing longevity and reliability. Higher pressure hoses feature a distinctive red iron oxide internal color for easy identification.
