The BD Diesel Positive Air Shutdown system provides a critical emergency engine shutdown solution by cutting the air supply to the diesel engine, ensuring immediate cessation of fuel ignition. Designed specifically for Dodge 5.9L engines from 2003 to 2007, this system uses an inline butterfly valve in the air intake line, activated by a heavy-duty electrical solenoid that trips a locked safety cam to shut down the engine within seconds.
