By insulating the turbine housing, the BD Turbo Blanket significantly reduces under-hood temperatures, which helps increase the lifespan of hoses, wiring harnesses, and coolant bottles. Cooler engine compartment temperatures result in higher air density, translating to improved engine power output. Additionally, the blanket retains and normalizes internal turbine housing temperatures, leading to faster turbo spool times and more consistent performance.
