The BD Diesel Turbo Intake Horn replaces the restrictive plastic factory turbo inlet pipe on for 2017-2022 Chevy/GMC 2500HD and 3500HD trucks with the 6.6L Duramax L5P engine. Crafted from 3-1/2 inch 409 series stainless steel tubing, this intake horn features a durable black powder-coated finish for enhanced protection and a performance-oriented appearance.
This drop-in component is designed to increase airflow, supporting upgraded larger turbos such as the BD Diesel L5P Screamer Turbo, resulting in improved turbo efficiency and quicker spool times. The intake horn is TIG welded for strength and built to withstand higher boost pressures and flow demands, making it ideal for performance upgrades. Installation is straightforward, typically taking about an hour and fifteen minutes.
