This Camburg 2.5 Front Slapper Bump Stop Mount Kit is engineered for easy installation on the Trail Series long-travel kit or stock length performance lower arms for 03-09 Toyota 4-Runner and FJ models. It enhances suspension strength and rigidity by double shearing the upper control arm (UCA) frame pivots with gussets, providing additional bottom out control and durability.
The slapper arm design positions the bump stop further outboard on the lower arm, improving efficiency and maintaining consistent motion ratio geometry. This ensures constant contact with the lower arm without interference, allowing the bump stop to engage only during bottoming events. The suspension remains active in the ride zone for a plush, controlled ride over small obstacles and effective bottoming resistance on larger impacts.
- Includes CNC laser cut UCA gussets for reinforced upper arm pivots
- Weld-on frame mount for bump stop installation
- Compatible with custom FOX or King 2.5 bump stops (not included)
- Rubber pad incorporated to reduce noise on contact
- Raw mounts supplied for welding; black Steel-IT coating recommended post-installation
- Designed for non-KDSS equipped models only
- Requires welding, cutting, and grinding for installation
