The Chase Bays Oil Filler Cap is a precision-machined upgrade designed specifically for the 2013 and newer Subaru BRZ, Toyota 86, and GR86 engines. Crafted from high-grade 6061 aluminum, this cap features a bead-blasted smooth finish and is anodized with a UV-resistant MIL-A-8625 Type II semi-gloss black coating for durability and long-lasting aesthetics. The design pays homage to the original, now-discontinued OG HKS Oil Filler Cap, while incorporating modern styling and functional improvements.
For ease of use, the cap integrates a 1/4" ratchet drive slot in the center, allowing effortless removal even in tight engine bays. The sealing is ensured by a premium Viton® fluoroelastomer O-ring, known for its chemical resistance and ability to withstand temperatures ranging from -15ºF to 390ºF, providing a reliable and tight seal under all operating conditions.
