This Vanos Oil Line kit is engineered to permanently solve the common issue of leaky high-pressure oil feed hoses on BMW M5x and S5x engines equipped with the S54 or Euro Oil Filter Housing. The hose features a smaller fitting compatible with oil cooler ports built into the housing, requiring a specialized design.
Developed from frustration with persistent leaks in race cars, this kit addresses the outdated OEM hose design that often results in inconsistent sealing and oil leaks, risking inadequate oil pressure to the Vanos system.
The hose is constructed from -6AN stainless steel with a Teflon PTFE lining and a PVC coating for durability and heat resistance. Hose ends and banjo bolts are crafted from black anodized aluminum, with Raychem DR-25 heat shrink over the crimps for superior quality and longevity. The kit includes newly designed high flow 3-oval-hole banjo bolts machined from 304 stainless steel to enhance oil flow.
