This multi-layer steel (MLS) head gasket features multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with a Viton rubber coating, providing a compressed operating thickness of 0.036". Ideal for aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks, this gasket can withstand the shearing force created by the two materials.
