DEI Floor and Tunnel Shield II 42in x 48in - 14.0 sq ft

Protect your vehicle from heat damage with the DEI Floor and Tunnel Shield II. This lightweight thermal protection barrier is designed to provide excellent heat protection in areas where high temperatures are present, such as firewalls, transmission tunnels, floorboards, fuel cells, and more.

  • Constructed with an embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to 1/8" composite glass-fiber core
  • Backed with a high temp super strong pressure sensitive backing
  • Withstands direct high temperatures up to 1750°F
  • Aggressive self-adhesive backing holds past 450°F
  • Easy to form to shapes and contours
  • Minimum clearance required, only 3/16" thick

This product is ideal for use on firewalls, under hoods, transmission tunnels, floor pans, fuel cells, and exterior under vehicle locations. It's also great for sound deadening and can be used on any number of surfaces, including metal, aluminum, carbon fiber, plastic, and more.

They work with these customers to define their problem, determine the correct materials necessary to handle their heat or sound control issues and work to design a solution. Their in-house design team can quickly turn around first article prototypes for inspection, for fitment and evaluation purposes. Once a final design is tested and approved by the customer, production begins based on their requirements.
