DEI Starter Shield 2ft x 7in Wide - Ultra 47

Protect your starter from heat soak conditions with the DEI Ultra 47 Starter Shield. Designed for severe duty use, this shield offers the highest level of protection for starters from potential failure caused by under hood heat soak conditions.

Constructed of two layers of material, a highly reflective outer layer combined with a high heat inner layer, this shield can withstand direct heat of up to 1350°F. The perfect choice for high heat applications where engine heat soak is a problem.

  • Made from a Tri-Layer mix of an Aluminum impregnated Glass fiber outer shell with a Hi-Temperature insulating mat core and Silica glass blend liner
  • Double stitching and heavy duty capped anchor points for durability
  • Hook & loop fastening system for easy installation
  • Length can be trimmed to size

Their in-house design team can quickly turn around first article prototypes for inspection, for fitment and evaluation purposes. Once a final design is tested and approved by the customer, production begins based on their requirements.
