The Driveshaft Shop 2-piece carbon fiber rear driveshaft is engineered for Mitsubishi EVO VII, VIII, and IX models equipped with the CT9A Active Yaw Control (AYC) differential. This high-performance driveshaft features carbon fiber front and rear sections combined with a specially designed hanger bearing and bracket to eliminate the violent hanger lag experienced with the factory shaft.
Designed to reduce weight and increase torsional stiffness, this driveshaft weighs 27 pounds compared to the stock 38 pounds, delivering smoother power transfer and improved acceleration response. It uses a single hanger bearing instead of two, and includes greasable, replaceable U-joints for enhanced durability over the factory non-serviceable type. The package comes complete with an aluminum conversion plate and all necessary hardware for a direct bolt-on installation.
