Fluidampr BBC External Balanced Dual Keyway Harmonic Balancer Adapter Hub

This adapter hub is designed for externally balanced Big Block Chevy (BBC) engines ranging from 454 to 502 cubic inches. It features dual keyways sized 3/16" and 1/4" to accommodate various crankshaft configurations. The hub fits Fluidampr part numbers 800181 and 80253E, ensuring compatibility with premium harmonic dampers.

Fluidampr manufactures performance harmonic balancers for both domestic and sport compact vehicles. Unlike traditional elastomer balancers, Fluidampr performance dampers become more effective at higher RPMs. Fluidampr’s unique design uses a viscous silicone material between the inertia ring and outer housing. Not only does this create a more effective damper at high RPM’s, but it also reduces rotational mass because the inertia ring is not directly connected to the crankshaft. That’s why top engine race builders prefer viscous dampers like Fluidampr.
