Fluidampr recommends to pin the damper to the crankshaft on GM/Chevy LS engines. This kit includes a press fit steel dowel pin, drill bit, drill fixture, and holding bolt for accurate alignment.

Fluidampr manufactures performance harmonic balancers for both domestic and sport compact vehicles. Unlike traditional elastomer balancers, Fluidampr performance dampers become more effective at higher RPMs. Fluidampr’s unique design uses a viscous silicone material between the inertia ring and outer housing. Not only does this create a more effective damper at high RPM’s, but it also reduces rotational mass because the inertia ring is not directly connected to the crankshaft. That’s why top engine race builders prefer viscous dampers like Fluidampr.
