It is designed to fit Fluidampr damper model #650241, providing a precise and durable connection between the crankshaft and the harmonic balancer to reduce engine vibration and improve reliability.

Fluidampr manufactures performance harmonic balancers for both domestic and sport compact vehicles. Unlike traditional elastomer balancers, Fluidampr performance dampers become more effective at higher RPMs. Fluidampr’s unique design uses a viscous silicone material between the inertia ring and outer housing. Not only does this create a more effective damper at high RPM’s, but it also reduces rotational mass because the inertia ring is not directly connected to the crankshaft. That’s why top engine race builders prefer viscous dampers like Fluidampr.
