GrimmSpeed Turbo Heat Shield V2 for 02+ Subaru EJ Engines

The GrimmSpeed Turbo Heat Shield V2 is engineered to significantly reduce heat soak in the engine bay of for 2002+ Subaru EJ-series engines. Constructed from durable 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish and laser-etched logo, this heat shield covers more of the turbocharger than its predecessor to minimize heat transfer to the top-mount intercooler (TMIC), improving overall engine performance.

One a more personal level, we are a group car enthusiasts who are working our passions in the lovely city of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our bread and butter started out anything Subaru. However, after growing our team and engineering expertise, we started developing products for Mitsubishi, Ford, MazdaSpeed, and Hyundai markets. We are a true garage start-up (single stall townhouse garage in Maplewood, Minnesota) and we've been lucky enough over the years to be able to turn it into exactly the business we had dreamed....actually, much more. We have a wide breadth of product offerings including; intercoolers, exhausts, intakes, gaskets, engine pullies, phenolic spacers, boost controllers, and many more.

What is the delivery time?

Items in stock are shipped within 1-2 business days. Items located at the manufacturer in the USA or Europe arrive within 5-7 business days and are then shipped. All other delivery times are available upon request, as these items are not kept in stock by the manufacturer.

Are there any additional costs?

Within the EU, there are no additional costs such as customs duties or import fees. We import each item to Germany first and then ship it to you from here.

Are the items street legal?

If an explicit indication is missing, the products do not have type approval or ECE. They are not road-legal across the EU without individual approval / inspection. Installation without approval will void your vehicle's registration and may violate local road traffic laws.
