This single piston is designed specifically for the Subaru EJ257 engine and features a 100mm bore, 8.5:1 compression ratio, and an inverted dome/dish design.
- Forked in the USA using 2618 aluminum for high tensile strength
- Proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design minimizes friction and power loss
- Skirt coating reduces friction and wear on piston skirts and cylinder walls
- Accumulator groove helps reduce pressure from combustion gases, reducing ring fluttering and improving ring seal
- Includes high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings
