This gusset reinforces the inner knuckle on the axle housing for Jeep Wrangler JK models with Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles. It adds strength to prevent common bending issues when off-roading, especially with larger tires. The gusset stiffens the area around the upper ball joint, reducing deflection under stress.
