Protect your start battery from excessive discharge and ensure reliable power for your accessories with the REDARC Smart Start SBI12D. This microprocessor-controlled dual battery isolator is designed for heavy-duty operations and provides 12V DC with 100A of continuous ratings.
With its compact size and easy installation, the SBI12D is perfect for 4WD and commercial vehicles. It isolates the start and auxiliary battery in a system where the auxiliary battery may be charged by an external source, and allows the start battery to be charged by the external source after the auxiliary battery reaches 13.2V.
The SBI12D features power-saving technology, fault detection, and LED indication of operation to warn users of voltage drops, over-voltage, or excessive current draw conditions. Its components prevent the solenoid from generating high voltage transients, making it a better choice than a diode battery isolator.
