Take your 1979-1993 Mustang to the next level with Ridetech's Front SLA Suspension System. This bolt-in system replaces the McPherson strut design with a billet aluminum upper control arm, tubular lower arm, and spindles with S-550 Mustang hubs. The result is improved negative camber gain and overall suspension geometry.
This design incorporates an upper control arm to induce negative camber gain, positioning the tire perpendicular to the pavement through the corners without the need for excessive static camber. Caster, roll center, and Ackerman angles were also optimized.
- Improved camber gain: 1.25 deg./inch
- Positive caster setting: 7-9 degrees
- Bumpsteer nearly eliminated: under.050"
- Tire clearance improved: allows 30 degrees of steering angle with up to a 275mm wide tire (minimum 17")
This system is compatible with the stock sway bar or most aftermarket sway bars and will fit most aftermarket k-members, including Maximum Motorsports, Team Z, AJE, and UPR.
