Mit ihrer konischen, abgeschnittenen Massenelektrode bietet die NGK Iridium IX Zündkerze verbessertes Anlassen, Leerlauf und Drosselklappen-Response. Die Haltbarkeit der Iridium-Feindraht-Masselektrode ist sechsmal härter als Platin, was sie perfekt für die heutigen Motoren macht.
