PROTHANE™ stellt eine breite Palette von Urethan-Produkten als Ersatz und Upgrade für OEM (Werks)-Gummibuchsen, -Lager und -Teile her. Urethan/Polyurethan ist ein Begriff, der eine Familie von Elastomeren beschreibt (jede Verbindung, die die Eigenschaften von Naturkautschuk aufweist; dehnbar und elastisch). Poly bedeutet "viele" und "Urethan" bezeichnet die Klassifizierung der chemischen Struktur. Polyurethan oder kurz Urethan wird als massiver Gusswerkstoff (Buchsen, Lager, Lagereinsätze, etc.) verwendet, der so weich wie ein Gummiband oder so hart wie eine Bowlingkugel gemischt werden kann. Jedes unserer Produkte wird speziell nach genauen Spezifikationen für Elastizität, Leistung und Haltbarkeit für die jeweilige Anwendung geformt.
