This Roadmaster Transmission Kit by BD Diesel is a fully remanufactured 48RE transmission designed specifically for 2005-2007 Dodge 5.9L Cummins 4WD models. It includes the BD ProForce Torque Converter and features numerous upgrades to enhance shift quality, durability, and cooling efficiency for demanding street and towing applications.
- Upgraded BD Valve Body for improved shift quality and extended transmission life
- Heavy-duty governor pressure solenoid and upgraded pressure transducer with double the burst pressure of stock
- Deep sump oil pan with magnetic drain plug for increased fluid capacity and cooling
- BD ProForce Torque Converter with enhanced stall characteristics and torque-multiplying cast aluminum stators
- Increased line pressure to 190-200 psi for more efficient operation
- Billet-forged front cover and billet band strut for added strength
- Furnace-brazed turbine fins and cooler line case saver for improved reliability
- Clutch counts matching original equipment for OD, forward, and direct clutches
- Tested on a dyno to ensure performance and reliability
