This BD Diesel HI5 12-Bolt Flex-Plate is engineered to handle extreme torque demands for 1994-2007 Dodge trucks equipped with 47RE or 48RE transmissions. Designed as a direct bolt-in replacement, it features forged billet construction with twice the thickness of stock flexplates, ensuring superior durability and reliability under high torque conditions.

The flexplate includes BD's Diamond Bite Shims to maximize torque holding capacity and is precision-balanced for smooth operation. Its black oxide coating resists corrosion and prevents hydrogen embrittlement, a common issue with zinc plating. This flexplate meets SFI 29.3 approval, making it suitable for high horsepower diesel applications. It allows axial thrust, unlike solid flywheel conversions, and fits any OEM or aftermarket torque converter. For full utilization of all 12 bolts, the matching BD 12-bolt Hi5 torque converter is required; however, it can also accommodate standard 6-bolt torque converters using only 6 bolts.
