Cometic's MLS gaskets are designed to withstand the shearing force created by different materials, making them ideal for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton, a heat-resistant material that can withstand temperatures up to 250°C/482°F.
