Cometic Ford 4.6L V-8 Left Side 92MM.040 MLS Headgasket
Take your engine to the next level with Cometic's MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gaskets, designed to provide maximum sealing performance for today's high-output engines. This left-side head gasket is specifically engineered for Ford 4.6L V-8 engines and features a compressed operating thickness of 0.040". The multiple embossed layers of stainless steel provide increased strength and the ability to rebound and resist corrosion.
The outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton, a flouroelastomer rubber-based material that is heat resistant to 250°C/482°F, making it ideal for harsh sealing environments. The center or shim layer is uncoated stainless steel, allowing for varied thickness requirements.
