Get the best sealing performance for your high-output engine with the Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gasket. This gasket is designed for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks, and can withstand the shearing force created by the two materials.
The Cometic MLS Head Gasket features multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with the outer layers utilizing a Viton rubber coating. The compressed operating thickness is 0.040 inches. This gasket provides maximum sealing performance and requires no sealants.
- Ideal for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks
- Withstands the shearing force created by the two materials
- Multiple layers of stainless steel for increased strength and ability to rebound and resist corrosion
- Outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton for heat resistance up to 250°C/482°F
