Upgrade your engine with the Cometic GM Ecotec 2.2L DOHC (L61/L42) 87MM.027 inch MLS Headgasket. This high-performance head gasket is designed to provide maximum sealing performance for today's high-output engines.
Comprised of multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with the outer layers utilizing a Viton rubber coating, this head gasket is built to withstand the shearing force created by aluminum heads and cast iron blocks.
- Compressed operating thickness: 0.027"
- Ideal for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks
- Increased strength and ability to rebound and resist corrosion
- Viton coating provides heat resistance up to 250°C/482°F
