Get the best sealing performance for your high-output engine with Cometic's MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gasket. This gasket is designed for GM LS Gen-3/4 Small Block V8 engines and features a compressed operating thickness of 0.098". The multiple embossed layers of stainless steel provide maximum strength and resistance to corrosion.
The outer layers are coated with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber-based material that can withstand temperatures up to 250°C (482°F). This ensures a tight seal even in harsh environments. The center shim layer is uncoated stainless steel, allowing for varied thickness requirements.
