Cometic GM LS1 SB 4.060 inch Bore.036 inch MLS Headgasket
Get the ultimate sealing performance for your high-output engine with Cometic's MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gasket. This gasket is designed for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks, and can withstand the shearing force created by the two materials.
- Comprised of multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with Viton rubber coating
- Compressed operating thickness is 0.036"
- Ideal for high-output engines, requiring no sealants
- Withstands shearing force created by aluminum and cast iron materials
Cometic's MLS gaskets have increased strength due to their multiple layers of stainless steel, allowing them to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton, a heat-resistant material that meets the demands of harsh sealing environments.
