Get the best sealing performance for your high-output engine with Cometic's MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gasket. This gasket is designed for maximum performance and requires no sealants. The multiple layers of stainless steel provide increased strength and the ability to rebound and resist corrosion.
Ideal for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks, this gasket can withstand the shearing force created by the two materials. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber-based material that meets the demands of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes.
- Comprised of multiple embossed layers of stainless steel
- Outer layers utilize a Viton rubber coating
- Compressed operating thickness is 0.045"
