The Cometic MLS Head Gasket is comprised of multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with the outer layers utilizing a Viton rubber coating. The compressed operating thickness is 0.060". This gasket has increased strength due to its multiple layers of stainless steel, which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion.
