Get the best sealing performance for your high-output engine with Cometic's MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gasket. This gasket is designed for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks, and can withstand the shearing force created by the two materials.
Comprised of multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with the outer layers utilizing a Viton rubber coating, this gasket provides maximum sealing performance and requires no sealants. The center or shim layer is uncoated stainless steel, which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements.
- Multiple layers of stainless steel for increased strength and ability to rebound and resist corrosion
- Viton rubber coating for heat resistance up to 250°C/482°F
- Ideal for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks
