Featuring a unique 2-piece design, the 500 Series rotor combines high-carbon cast-iron rings with aerospace-grade aluminum hats (T6061-T6) for optimal performance and reduced unsprung weight. The use of aluminum hats also allows for uniform radial disc expansion and reduced heat transfer from disc to hub.
