This 1-piece chromoly driveshaft is a direct-fit conversion designed specifically for the BMW 1995-1999 E36 M3 with a 5-speed transmission and a 6-bolt rear differential flange. Constructed from a 3-inch diameter, 0.083-inch wall DOM chromoly tube, it features a 108mm constant velocity (CV) joint to mount directly to the differential, eliminating pinion angle issues for smoother power delivery.
Weighing 25 lbs, this driveshaft removes the factory hanger bearing, resulting in a more athletic feel and improved power transfer. It is dynamically balanced on a 9500 RPM balancer to ensure precision and reliability. The kit includes adapter plates for transmission and differential flange mounting along with all necessary hardware for installation.
