This 1-piece driveshaft is designed for the Subaru WRX models from 2002 to 2007, compatible with automatic transmissions or 6-speed swaps featuring the R160 rear differential. Constructed from a 2.75-inch carbon fiber tube custom wound with high modulus fiber, it offers exceptional strength while being approximately half the weight of the factory 2-piece driveshaft. The shaft ends are made from durable 6061-T6 aluminum, and it includes larger, replaceable u-joints for enhanced durability.
Installation requires no modifications to factory shields, plates, or covers. The lightweight design improves vehicle responsiveness and reduces drivetrain noise by eliminating the factory hanger bearing movement during acceleration. This driveshaft is rated to handle up to 850 wheel horsepower and speeds up to 180 MPH, making it suitable for high-performance applications.
