With its diesel-grade iron construction and added material in key areas, the BOSS block strength is far superior to any Ford OE block ever produced. It's compatible with the original 302 and 351W blocks and retains the clutch cross shaft pivot hole, original style oil filter location, and original motor mount boss locations.
