This kit includes the necessary mounting brackets to install a hydraulic ram (gas shock) on the tailgate of your 2007-2011 Wrangler. Once the kit is installed, your tailgate will open in a single fluid movement on level ground and prevent it from accidentally swinging closed when you're loading or unloading the vehicle.
