Supertech Forged Pistons for Mini Cooper BMW B48 JCW 2.0T 16V

Engineered for high-performance applications, these forged pistons are designed specifically for the Mini Cooper BMW B48 JCW 2.0T 16V engine. Manufactured from extruded high-silicon enhanced 4032 alloy with additional copper, nickel, and magnesium, these pistons deliver low thermal expansion, superior wear resistance, and excellent thermal conductivity.

Each piston undergoes a multi-step forging process, followed by precision CNC machining and several heat treatments to ensure high tensile strength and evenly distributed hardness. Contact reduction grooves are standard, and pin bores are honed and reamed for a precise fit. The wrist pins are constructed from cold extruded chrome moly steel for maximum strength and secured with wire clip locks. A phosphate dry lubricant coating is applied to protect against micro-welding and enhance lubrication on the skirt and cylinder area.
